Rook
Corvus frugilegus
Rooks are members of the Corvid (crow) family. They are very sociable birds, and you are unlikely to see one on its own. The Rook’s bare, greyish-white face, thinner beak and peaked head distinguish it from the Carrion Crow. Rookeries can most commonly be seen in banks of mature trees between farm fields and in rural villages.
